Tronics Pty. Ltd., an Australian manufacturer of label application machinery, has developed a new labeling system for shrink bags.  
 
Collaborating with Avery Dennison, Tronics has introduced a product to replace expensive direct-printed vacuum shrink bags. The new labelling system is designed for Avery Dennison’s Shrink PS label film.
 
Shrink PS is a patent-pending label designed for application to shrinkable bags widely used across the meat and dairy industries. The pressure sensitive labels are printed and adhered to unfilled vacuum shrinks, withstanding the pressure, heat and water of the vacuum shrink process. 
 
The Tronics shrink labeling system enables Shrink PS labels to be applied quickly and smoothly to shrink bags.
 
Shaun Rainer, Tronics’ national sales manager, says that the new shrink labeling system is easy to use and built to last, enabling quick toll changes, roll-to-roll labeling or single bag tear-away for easy label and fill.
 
Tronics shrink labeling systems are manufactured at the company’s Melbourne site and will be supplied across the Asia Pacific region.
